Drum roll please..... Pierce has arrived, and he is more beautiful than we could have imagined! SO tiny compared to big brother Colin! I love the picture of Chris (teary eyed) holding Colin up to get a peek at his new buddy!

Doctor, hospital and more doctor..pretty much sums up the month of October!

Update:

OK so last time I was horrible at keeping up with this thing, but here it goes again and I promise I'll try harder!

First and foremost the kids are GREAT! They are both healthy, happy, and a handful! Chris and I are good too, busy but happy nonetheless. Were currently trying to juggle working, finishing up school and two kids under two! This is a task, let me tell you!

Colin is two years old now! He is so smart and is really talking up a storm. He has numerous phone calls a day (to Mickey Mouse, Pluto, Dora and Uncle Hunter). He enjoys playing and squealing at the park across the street EVERYDAY that he can convince us he has to "show us something across the street". Mr. Manipulator is what we call him! He is taking swimming lessons everyday and is learning very quickly. It is a struggle dragging him across the street, and getting him into the water is a whole other story! But when he's done, he is happy and so very proud of himself! We have had a rough month health wise though. Two weeks ago he was rushed to the hospital (in an ambulance) for an asthma attack in the middle of the night. Needless to say it scared the crap out of Chris and I. He was OK though and sent home early the next morning with a case of Croup. Then the following week he was vomiting and running a fever of 103 every time the Motrin dose wore off. We took him to the doctor and he was tested for flu- negative! He was also tested for Strep- POSITIVE! A day later he broke out in a horrible rash all over his body, took him back to the doc and found out he had Scarlet Fever! He is now halfway through his course of Amoxiclillin. He is back to his old self now, thank god! Luckily, the baby, Chris and I did not catch anything from the little sick kid! Pierce is growing like a weed. He is now about 12 and half lbs and at his last checkup (2month checkup) he was 23 inches! That is 4 inches in 2 months! WHOA! (Colin had his 2 year checkup on the same day and weighed 34 lbs and was 33 inches tall) Pierce is smiling and cooing all the time now. He really makes all three of us melt, and we act like total goofballs to get more out of him! Colin is such a sweet and loving big brother, Chris and I are amazed by the kindness he shows his little brother. He is not jealous and always wants to help, even change poopy diapers! Speaking of poopy diapers, we are just starting potty training and its not going as well as I hoped. I might take a break from it and give him some time before trying again (doctor's advice on it)

So hopefully this catches everyone up a bit! I'm posting new photos of the boys, our recent trip to Disney for Colin's 2nd birthday and of course some Pierce pictures since all we have on here is a 3D sonogram!

Update on Pierce...I was supposed to have a doctor's appointment this afternoon, but when I got there I was told my doctor was out on "unexpected deliveries" all day. They rescheduled me for tomorrow (6/12) @ 3pm. Hopefully we can get a more definitive due date! My guess is July 22nd. I don't know why but it seems like a great day to have a baby. We'll see what the doc has to say about it. This will be my THIRD due date! The first was July 17th, the second was August 3rd. I say July 22nd. I'll let you know what happens.

First try at this blog thing

Hello all!

I figured this blog would be a great way to keep everyone informed on what is going on in our lives- that is everyone who cares to be informed! As you all know we're very busy and keeping in touch can be difficult at times to say the least. My hopes are to update this blog

as often as possible and give everyone a little insight into what our day to day life is really like. I'll be uploading pictures and videos for you to enjoy as well. Some will be old, but I'll try my best to keep them up to date. Enjoy.

So here it goes...

This past Monday was our 3D ultrasound for Mr. Pierce. Luckily he seems to be healthy and perfect. I'll post some pictures- they are so cool! You can actually see his beautiful little face. He looks a lot different than Colin did in his 3D ultrasound pictures. We are so anxious and excited to meet him.

Some new news- It looks like I'm a little farther along than we thought. The ultrasound tech thinks I'm about 34 weeks, 3 days. So that would make my new estimated due date July 17th. I have a feeling Pierce will come somtime in between the 17th and August 3rd. We'll just have to wait and see!

Colin is doing great! He is going to preschool everyday and loving it! He rarely has a "bad day" there and his teachers adore him. He is talking more and more everyday and always seems to have something to say, although we can't always understand it. He is very stubborn. Any ideas where he might have gotten than from? He loves to color pictures and is so very proud of each one he does. I'll have to take a picture of a couple of his drawings/paintings for you all to see. He is quite talented if I say so myself.

Hopefully we'll be closing on our new house early next week. I guess good things come to those who wait. Maybe it will be extra good since we've waited so long. We're just so excited! We can't wait to show everyone.
